SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETING
Working from a soundproof booth, the interpreter instantaneously translates what the speaker is saying. Simultaneous interpreting is provided in a team. The interpreter translates for 30 minutes and then a fellow professional takes over. Booths and interpreting equipment are required.
Ideal for conferences, presentations…
WHISPERED INTERPRETING OR CHUCHOTAGE
A type of simultaneous interpreting in which the interpreter whispers the translated message to the client/clients so as not to disturb the progress of the meeting with another language. Ideal for a small group of listeners (maximum of 5 people).
This type of interpreting can also be provided with equipment (microphone and headphones) for larger groups..

CONSECUTIVE INTERPRETING
The interpreter translates the entire speech (of up to 7 minutes) or sections of it after the speaker has spoken. The speaker must make pauses if the speech exceeds 7 minutes to allow the interpreter to translate. Ideal for meetings, press conferences, negotiations…
Consecutive interpreting can also be offered for a telephone conversation. This is known as telephone interpreting.
LIAISON AND ESCORT INTERPRETING
The interpreter translates short sections from and into two languages (note taking is not required). The interpreter can accompany the client if the particular task so requires.
