Privacy policy of Transrelation
Transrelation, located at Sankelmarksgade 15, 2.tv., in the city of Copenhagen and with tax identification number DK-28243863, provides translation, interpreting and language training services. In conformity with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) and in our capacity as data controllers, we will proceed to outline how we collect, use, protect and process the personal data of users of our website.
Definition of personal data
◉ Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, through which his or her identity may be directly or indirectly determined.
◉ Sensitive personal data means information that reveals the racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, health data, or data relating to the sex life and/or sexual orientation of an individual.
Collection of data
We collect personal data when contact is established with the possible client through the website (contact form) and by email. In the course of our translation activity, we indirectly collect the data contained in the documents that we process for translation or for the preparation of interpreting tasks.
Nature of the data
On the contact form, you are asked to enter your name, email address and a brief description of your enquiry, in order that we may send you our quotation for the services requested. There is also an option of attaching the document that requires translation, since this makes it easier to prepare the quotation. When the potential client or client sends us the translation or interpreting enquiry by email, the nature of the data included is the same as that described for the data contained in the contact form. Finally, the documents sent to Transrelation to be translated, or as preparatory material for interpreting, may contain sensitive personal data.
How we use this information
The personal data sent through the contact form or by email is used exclusively to process the enquiry made by the user. In the case of sensitive data contained in the documents for translation or interpreting, this data is used exclusively to complete this task, namely the task of translation/proofreading or interpreting, in the event that the task is confirmed. Otherwise, this data will be deleted immediately.
How we protect personal data
Our website has an SSL certificate which encrypts all the data that travels from your computer to the server. We continuously make an evaluation of possible risks and we update the protection and security measures implemented as required.
Storage and deletion
We only store personal data for the time required to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, as described above (processing of order, translation/interpreting/correction and billing), and in accordance with applicable legislation.
Your rights
As a data subject, you have the following rights with respect to the data that is stored:
1. Right of access: the right to learn how the existing data has been collected, processed and stored and for what purpose.
2. Right to correction: the right to have erroneous or incomplete data corrected.
3. Right to deletion: the right to have your data permanently deleted.
4. Right to restrict or object to processing: the right to block or suppress processing of your personal data.
You can exercise any of the aforementioned rights by writing to info@transrelation.dk
Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties, with the exception of the person responsible for hosting and maintaining our website, and our collaborators (proofreaders and other translators and interpreters), to whom we transfer the data that they need in order to perform the task that you have entrusted to Transrelation. This data will be treated with absolute confidentiality.
